egalitarian in Australia 1901-1914

Since 1901, Australia has come a long way in fighting inequality. Women now have the exact rights that men do, the White Australia policy and the Assimilation policy were stopped, life has improved for Aboriginals as their rights are now being acknowledged and thought of, the average life expectancy has increased, and the government does a good job ensuring that all Australian citizens benefit from the nation’s prosperity.

So Australia was partly an egalitarian society in 1901-1914 but from then until now it has improved drastically.
